1925

A Legend Was Born

Mr Bihari Lal was born in Sialkot region of Punjab (now Pakistan). At an early age he took up multiple jobs to hone his skills and finalized upon repairing shoes which was a rare job performed by a few talented workers.

The heinous times of partition had Mr Bihari Lal migrate to India where an ocean of opportunities was awaiting. Keeping intact his values, Mr Bihari Lal continued repairing shoes until he was exposed to a sports manufacturing unit nearby. A knack to adapt new skills encouraged him to try hand crafting footballs. He burnt the midnight oil and soon mastered the art.

Post years of hands on stint in making Footballs, Mr Bihari Lal along with 4 of his co-workers ventured into a self owned business of making and distributing Footballs.

The market was wise enough to unlatch the potential and bestowed the genius with more opportunities. This is exactly when Bihari Lal & Co was officially incepted.

An Inspiring Expansion

Post achieving up to 50 Footballs production count every day, Bihari Lal & Co took a leap ahead and expanded the production area by 3 times. The hint was clear  a new market leader would soon emerge.

Inspired by his father to innovate and rule, Mr Jeet Raj joined the company and brought in new age ideas to expand the business.

A Big Leap Ahead With Leather Tanning

A lot had evolved till now and much more had to happen. The year was significant for the leather industry; never seen before technology had high quality leather products such as PU, Artificial Leather and Synthetic Leather set in.
The enthusiastic team at Bihari Lal & Co took no time to capitalize upon the opportunity and launched Leather tanning. The hugely popular Cricket ball and other products were produced and exported at record rates.

Leather Tanned products met with tremendous demand in Germany and UK. Bihari Lal & Co launched dedicated facility to contain the rising production needs.

More Power To Leadership

Two more astute leaders  Mr Mukesh Kumar and Mr Naresh Kumar joined the bandwagon. Bihari Lal & Co began export for South Africa and Hungary and Poland.

Years of faultless production and export was felicitated by the prestigious Export Excellence Award.

Companys own brand labeled Sports goods hit the market shelves and captured a major share from brands existing then. High quality and cost effectiveness fueled more popularity.
